What is personal data?
The General Declaration defines “personal data” as any data relating to an individual whose identity is identified or can be identified. An identifiable person is a person who can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular with the help of identifiers such as name, surname, identification number (e.g. OIB), location information, network identifier (e.g. IP address) or with the help of one or more factors inherent in the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that individual.
